The calm little corner of the internet that belongs to your family
One screen with the day on it — the calendar, the messages, the photos, what’s for dinner and the family radio — at a private address that is yours alone. Everyone in the house gets their own login and their own look.

What’s inside
Built for a household, not an office
One hub, shared by the people who live in it — and shaped a little differently by each of them.
The shared day
Everyone finally sees the same day
Practices, lessons, appointments and pizza night, colour-coded by person on one calendar the whole house can read at a glance. When plans change, they change for everyone at once — no group-text archaeology.
- A colour for every member of the house
- The same day on every phone, tablet and screen
- Kids can check it themselves — and add to it
The family’s memory
Photos and words that stay in the family
The camera roll’s best moments and the day’s little messages live at your address, handed only to a signed-in member of your house. Grandma sees the recital; the internet doesn’t.
- No public links to guess, ever
- No algorithm deciding what’s worth seeing
- Messages the kids can use without a phone number
Made theirs
Every member gets a hub of their own
Same hub, same family, six very different looks. Each person picks their own skin and arranges their own dashboard — the nine-year-old’s camo command post and Grandma’s quiet steel are the same address underneath.
- A login and a dashboard for every member
- Panels drag into the shape each person likes
- Changing your look never changes anyone else’s
Make it theirs
Twelve worlds. Everyone picks their own.
Your son runs a camo command center. Your daughter tends a daisy garden. Grandma keeps a harbor house. Each theme is a whole personality — its own words, its own type, its own shape — not a coat of paint. Same hub, same messages, same photos underneath.
How it works
Up and running before the kettle’s boiled
-
Pick your address
Choose a name and it becomes a real, private web address — yours alone, for as long as you keep the hub.
-
Invite the household
Send each person an invite from Settings. Kids join with just a name and a password — no email address required.
-
Make it yours
Everyone picks a look, switches on the widgets they care about and drags their dashboard into shape. Done.
Private by construction
Your family’s life is not a product
Latch & Lantern has no feed to grow, no ads to sell and no reason to peek. It is a subscription: you pay for the hub, and that is the whole business model.
- One family per address — nothing is shared between families
- Photos and messages go only to signed-in members
- No public links to guess, no third-party trackers
- Cancel and it’s gone: your hub, your call
Pricing
One price for the whole house
No per-seat maths, no upsell tiers. If they live with you, they’re on the plan.
- Unlimited family members
- Your own address, yours alone
- Every widget included — nothing is a paid add-on
- No card to start. Cancel any time.
We’ll remind you before the trial ends. If you do nothing, nothing is charged.

Questions
Fair questions, straight answers
Who can see our photos and messages?
Only signed-in members of your family. There are no public links, no sharing outside the hub, and one family per address — nothing is ever visible between families.
Do the kids need email addresses?
No. Kids get real accounts with just a name and a password. They can use messages, photos and the calendar without a phone number or an email address of their own.
What does it run on?
Any browser — phones, tablets, laptops, and a spare tablet or screen on the kitchen counter works beautifully as the always-on family display. There is nothing to install.
What happens when the trial ends?
We remind you before it ends. If you subscribe, it’s $9.99/mo for the whole household. If you do nothing, nothing is charged.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Settings, in two clicks. No retention phone call, no “are you sure” maze.
